Andrew Smith

Andrew is an experienced Asset and Property Manager with extensive knowledge of both service and client-side delivery of real estate services to the commercial, industrial, logistics, and workspace sectors. He has extensive external vendor and internal client management skills including key account delivery and the oversight of large, multi-disciplinary teams.

Background

At Mileway, Andrew was Head of Property Management leading the UK In-house Property Management function overseeing external Property Management service suppliers and creating the bridge between Property Management and Asset Management. Roles subsequently created in The Netherlands, Germany, France and the Nordics and a UK replacement allowed his role to expand to manage all internal Property Management Oversight teams across 10 jurisdictions, 21 separate Property Management contracts and 15 different suppliers..

At Fisher German, Andrew was Head of Client Relationships collaborating with the Senior Partners and the wider property management team to manage 100 individuals within the commercial property management team including 30 Property Managers. Andrew had responsibility for high-level client liaison and reporting and delivery of KPIs across Property Management, Asset Management, and Rent Collection functions.

Andrew also had key roles with Collingwood Rigby as Associate Partner and M7 Real Estate as Senior Asset Manager (London & Regions). In his early career Andrew was Estates Director for Lear Group Limited with overall responsibility for all property and asset management matters for the commercial assets held by six group companies. The portfolio extended to 987 individual units across 107 locations and approximately 3 million sq ft of industrial, retail, office, and leisure accommodation.

Andrew is an occasional visiting lecturer in Property & Asset Management at Wolverhampton University and and an MRICS chartered surveyor.
